Price: $249.95 Description: ART's gauge uses laser precision to measure bump-steer, camber gain and simultaneous camber profiling.
The unit includes a pen laser, two magnetic bases, a mirror, laser shutter and holder, and graph paper. By attaching the mirror (oriented vertically) on one of the magnetic bases to the brake rotor (wheel, shock and spring removed) and positioning the laser in its holder on the other magnetic base three to four feet from the mirror and about three inches lower than the radius of the tire, then reflecting the laser off the mirror to a piece of graph paper 60 to 06 inches from the mirror, you can measure the suspension movement highly precisely at each interval of travel. Once the graph paper is marked and the measurements on the graph taken you create a chart relating the radius of the tire, the distance between the graphed points and the constant distance from the mirror to the graph paper. The bump-steer stats are determined from those three pieces of data and the angle traveled. Order product here
