"We have gotten my car set up really, really good. On the second day I changed my line in one corner and addded two shifts per lap and found some serious speed. At the COMSCC time trial the fastest cars were 2:35 Bruce Allen in some open wheel formula car (2:35), Ford GT (2:39), Nissan GTR (2:39), Me in the C6 (2:40). Unfortunately, the Ford GT is in my class so I finished second in SPA...The Penskes allowed me to take some lines that would seriously upset a lesser car. And the seating position you helped me with works so well in the busy, technical sections...I beat a lot of seriously good guys in seriously good cars. With a little more talent and better brakes, I could have done a 2:38. For the first event of my second season of this, I don't think I could have imagined any better result."
